Well behaved dogs are welcome to stay in Gooseyard Cottage and Daisy's Place.
Feel free to walk your dog(s) directly from the cottages either on the lanes, fields or bridleway. While we do ask that dogs be kept on the lead at the farm, there are many areas over the Long Mynd hills where well behaved dogs are all allowed off the lead. Please note that there are sheep over many parts of the Shropshire Hills. Our local pub only 1/2 mile down the road also welcomes dogs.
Although the garden area is not enclosed there are plenty of fencing areas to tie a lead. Water bowls and spare towels are provided in the laundry room as well as an outside tap and brush for washing down. Both cottages have very useful porches for wet clothes, boots and dogs!
No more than two well behaved dogs are allowed please (note; no dogs are allowed in The Barn). You can let us know that you are bringing a dog in the comments box on the check-out page. We ask that dogs are not allowed upstairs, there is a door at the bottom of the stairs to make this easy to control. We would be grateful if they did not go on the sofa unless on your own rug or that they be left unattended in the cottage unless in a cage.
We do not charge extra for dogs staying but we do ask that you are mindful of the furnishings. Many thanks and happy walking!
